is SoftIron OverDrive 1000 right for me?

I'm looking for an arm64 machine to use as a KVM hypervisor, to run a bunch of armhf and arm64 guests on.

The hypervisor and the guests will all run Debian: Wheezy and newer for armhf, Jessie and newer for arm64. All the guests will be compute nodes in a CI cluster. I want both stability and performance from my guests, though surely it can't be worse than the "maker"-class embedded armhf boards i'm currently using.

Would the OverDrive 1000 work well as the hypervisor for this setup?

Does anyone have experience installing Jessie or Stretch arm64 on it? Were there any special gotchas or tricks I should be aware of?

Does anyone have experience running armhf and arm64 KVM guests on arm64 in general, and on this hypervisor in particular?

Are there any other machines i should be considering alongside the OverDrive 1000?
