Assuming that the dpkg-architecture variables are likely to get a mention in any such discussion it seems sensible to just use the GNU (and thus Debian) DEB_BUILD_ARCH and DEB_HOST_ARCH and DEB_TARGET_ARCH terminology and explain that, rather than introducing a different one.Does DEB_TARGET_ARCH actually exist?
