Debian ARM install on a QNAP HS-210
Hi there.
I've been exchanging emails with Martin Michlmayr regarding a Debian ARM
install on a QNAP HS-210.
He went on holidays, so he's asked me to contact the mailing list
here...
I'm trying to install either testing or sid to a 32GB USB stick on the
HS-210 but have been unsucessful after many attempts.
Have used all 3 images (stable, testing and sid) to try to install
either testing and sid (have not tried stable) always with the same
result.
I've used the following images:
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/*(stable/testing/sid)*/main/installer-armel/current/images/kirkwood/network-console/qnap/ts-219/
I noticed some disk space errors in the syslog, but disk space seems
fine...
I think the log below was while installing jessie/with the jessie image
files, but they all fail at a similar point in the install...
The failing step is: "Select and install software" (it fails towards the
end of that step...)
Trying to proceed to "Make the system bootable" also gives me an error
and the red screen.
I've tried 2 different USB sticks from different vendors (Sandisk and
Silicon Power) but nothing changed...
(I've cleared them with a "dd if=/dev/zero" before the install
process...)
