I have the same problem with debian stable on TS-420U.
The first day after installation I was still able to switch off the TS-420U.
However, when I wake up the next morning the TS-420U was already running
again. From the logfiles I saw that the TS-420U started a few minutes
past 8am and I was wondering if something might have been written to the
crontab but I didn't found anything.
Since than I haven't been able to properly shutdown. I also tried to
switch off by using the on/off button (holding for 10 seconds) - but the
TS-420U does always reboot ...
