Hello,

I am currently working on updating the platform support status in
the installation guide and have been trying to look up which
exact models of the Cubox-i are supported by this. The
comparision table for the various Cubox-i models at
http://cubox-i.com/products/ lists different SOC variants
(Cubox-i1 with i.MX6 Solo, Cubox-i2 with i.MX6 Dual Lite,
Cubox-i2eX with i.MX6 Dual and Cubox-i4Pro with i.MX6 Quad), i.e.
there are two dual-core models.

Looking at kernel 3.15 shows two different dtbs for the Cubox-i
(imx6q-cubox-i.dtb and imx6dl-cubox-i.dtb) of which the first
seems to cover the Cubox-i4Pro and the Cubox-i2eX while the
second seems to cover the Cubox-i2 and the Cubox-i1. If this is
correct, the Cubox-i1 and the Cubox-i2 could probably also be
supported with an additional entry in
/usr/share/flash-kernel/db/all.db in the form of

Machine: SolidRun SolidRun Cubox-i Solo/DualLite
Kernel-Flavors: armmp
DTB-Id: imx6dl-cubox-i.dtb
Boot-Script-Path: /boot/boot.scr
U-Boot-Script-Name: bootscr.cubox-i
Required-Packages: u-boot-tools

Is anybody with access to a Cubox-i1 or Cubox-i2 around
who can confirm that?

Regards,
Karsten
