Why can't I spin down hard disk in MyBook World Edition?
I have installed Debian Squeeze in a MyBook World Edition NAS device.
So far just about everything is running fine.
But I'm having trouble having the hard drive spin-down after periods of
no use.

#hdparm -V reports:
hdparm v9.32
From hdparm -Y /dev/sda, I see:
/dev/sda:
issuing sleep command
and the drive will spin-down but in 15-20 seconds it spins back up.
No matter what I try for the drive to spin-down when not used for an
extended time, it just keeps running.
The only running processes are:
