Iomege Icconect Debian installer network issue

Hello all

I am triyng to install Debian Squeeze on my Iomega Iconnect. I am
following the excelent guide of Martin Michlmayr:
http://www.cyrius.com/debian/kirkwood/openrd/install.html. However, I
am facing some trouble with the network autoconfiguration during
installation.

What I have done:
setenv mainlineLinux yes
setenv arcNumber 1682 (uncertain whether 1682 is correct??)
saveenv
reset

usb start
ext2load usb 0:1 0x01100000 /uInitrd
ext2load usb 0:1 0x00800000 /uImage

setenv bootargs console=ttyS0,115200n8
base-installer/initramfs-tools/driver-policy=most
bootm 0x00800000 0x01100000

The Debian installer finds two network cards eth0 and eth1. Of course,
I have tried them both both with dhcp and manual setup. The lan
interface card is a 1 Gb card and my router only support 100 mbit
ethernet.

A short dump from /var/log/syslog shows following errors:

Is there a possible fault in the Debian installer or am I missing
something? Can you help me out?
