Yes. Exactly.

That was dramatic. I guess it leads on to the question of how many
more really dramatic speedups there are in software people actually
use (or would if it was faster :-)

Yes. I was meaning for other people to try stuff as this is such an
easy benchmark to run if you've got a browser built.
