Ok, I would be very interested in an explanation as to why it goes down from 
2:44 to 50s by a simple recompile. I also tried other example scenes, it 
wasn't the exception, rather the rule. If you believe I manipulated the 
benchmark in some way, feel free to try it yourself, you'll be surprised.
