SS4000E - Installation finished but flash zImage still net install

Hi all,

Ok so I managed to get the debian installer to install linux to the hard
disks on the SS4000e. The problem I was having with ymodem appears to have
been a Ubuntu issue as when I tried minicom and ymodem with Fedora 11 it
just worked.

So I go through the installation process but the "make system bootable"
section fails. I have also read to skip this step. Now when the system
boots up it still loads the zImage from the flash drive which just starts
the installation procedure again.

I have tried editing the boot script as follows:

fis load ramdisk.gz
exec -c "console=ttyS0,115200 rw root=/dev/md0 mem=256M@0xa0000000" -r
0x01800000

But this doesn't work as I assume it can't see the multi-disk device. How
do I update the zImage on the flash or how do I get the boot loader to
boot the zImage from the /dev/md0 device?

thanks
