I just want to have local network connections between all other devices and my nslu2.Linux in general does not deal with ignoring routes just because an interface is down. Unix like systems never do. Routers do.
Can you explain me more on that. These interfaces have different ip. Is it not enougth?You can configure them as different IP networks and use both, or you have to get something like quagga involved to manage your routes with link detect enabled.
