Lenny Install problem on NSLU2

Heya folks,

Newby question. Have an NSLU2 that was running Openslug for a couple of years, and in my wisdom, I decided to go for a full Debian LENNY install onto my NSLU2, using an 8GB Usb stick as the install drive.

I have only partitioned to 4GB (boot 256Mb. swap 256Mb, 3.5GB root/home)

4 days later and on my 12th or so install... still no got..

Flashed OK, started install OK... got to various stage.. it once even asked what kind of install I wanted (fil/web server etc), but eventually failed too..

The last two times I get an install error during the Base install.. After selecting the Kernel version I want to use to boot from (linux-image-2.6.26-1-ixp4xx, linux-image-2.6-ixp4xx, linux-image-ixp4xx), I get an error that It can not install busy box...

Here is what was in the var/log/syslog after the failure:

So it looks like the install of busybox failes for an unknow reason...

I have 'reflashed' a couple of times, re partitioned the USB drive (sometimes using the full 8GB, other times just 4GB)

Anyone got any idea of what I have done wrong?

Thanks

G./
