ext 3 Errors with Sheevaplug on USB Stick.
I am using Squeeze on a USB stick with my Sheevaplug. Eventually I am
hoping to use it as a mail server, so it has Postfix, amavis and
spamassassin installed. However, at the moment they aren't actually ding
anything.
If I just leave the system idling about once every 24hrs I get:
[145722.630000] EXT3-fs error (device sda1): ext3_dx_find_entry: bad
entry in directory #3415: rec_len is smaller than minimal - offset=4096,

I can fix the problem with e2fsck, but it keeps coming back. In
/etc/fstab I have:
# / was on /dev/sda1 during installation
UUID=0c5664ed-681f-42.6.30-2-kirkwood7c0-898a-b5bc23a4aae2_ /
ext3 noatime,errors=remount-ro 0 1
My kernel version is: 2.6.30-2-kirkwood
Any ideas as to why this is happening? I have tried several different
make of usb stick, so I don't think it's a problem with the stick itself.
Ian.
