Could well be, I'm not a Debian user, so I'm unfamiliar with apt

I have at the moment:-
Little-Slug:/etc/apt# cat sources.list
# deb ftp://83.142.228.128/debian/ etch main
deb ftp://83.142.228.128/debian/ lenny main
deb ftp://83.142.228.128/debian/ etch main
deb-src ftp://83.142.228.128/debian/ etch main
#deb ftp://83.142.228.128/debian etch/updates main
# Line commented out by installer because it failed to verify:
#deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main
# Line commented out by installer because it failed to verify:
#deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main

I've now replaced my list with yours and its downloading

Many thanks
