Depends what software you want. As yet some of it is missing from the
archive, some uninstallable due to incoherence of arch-independent and
armel packages in the unstable repository, some packages are unusably
buggy.
To see whether any of the apps you need are known to be broken, check
wiki.debian.org/ArmEabiProblems
As far as unstable archive coherence goes it is pot luck at present,
though "lenny" has got to the point where most server-style packages
are woking - "unstable" is currently living up to its name...
