IIRC this can happen if your clock isn't running. nslu2s ship with a hardware clock that's turned off, and it's started running once the clock is set. Typically this happens if you use the web interface that ships on the slug to set the clock. If you don't do so before installing Debian, you might still not have a running clock. Try using hwclock to set the clock, and see if that clears up the problem. -- see shy jo
