I'm confused. I'm not sure what you are asking. Once can change the
kernel command line when building APEX, but one can also change it
afterwards with the tools mentioned on the wiki page. With apexctl,
the MTD block in which APEX is stored must be padded with 0xff, but
when etch is installed, the mtdblock is padded zeros. The easiest way
to get a 0xff padded MTD block is to download the MTD block I prepared
which is hosted by Martin [1], and follow the instructions on the wiki
for loading this image into the NSLU2 flash.
