http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=2519 says "you have a
GenesysLogic device, which is known to be incompatible with Linux at
USB 2.0 speeds. Reduce the speed to 1.1 speeds (i.e. disable EHCI)".
Can you try this?
