In this case it will normally only flash the image if you set
NSLU2_IXP400_REQUIRED=false in /etc/mkinitramfs/nslu2.conf, but maybe
the check got broken? (Although I don't think I changed anything to
that part of the code.) What does /etc/mkinitramfs/nslu2.conf say?
In any case, if it really wrote a bad image, you can simply upgrade to
a good image again via upslug2, and then we can do more tests.
