Compiling 2.2.13 on a Netwinder

Hello,

I've built 2.2.13 from sources on my good old Netwinder DM,
and when I boot it it dies after firing up the portmap
process. So I commented that out, and it dies firing up the
next process.

I searched the mailing list archives and decided to put the
Systems map under /boot with a name modeled after what I
gave the kernel, but I don't know how the kernel is supposed
to know which System map to read. So, I have:

sitongia@netwinder:/boot$ ls -l
total 2728
-rw-r--r-- 1 root disk 186299 Dec 27 03:11 System.map-2.2.13
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 210630 Apr 10 2000
System.map-2.2.13-netwinder
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5160 Apr 10 2000
config-2.2.13-netwinder
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           17 Dec 23 22:27 nettrom ->
nettrom-2.3.3.bin
-rw------- 1 root root 519362 Aug 1 16:53 nettrom-2.3.3.bin
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 556092 Dec 27 02:42 vmlinuz-2.2.13
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1283900 Apr 10 2000
vmlinuz-2.2.13-netwinder

I got the sources by downloading linux-2.2.13.tar.bz2 and then applying the
patches in patch-2.2.13-rmk2.gz.

Is this a known problem with 2.2.13? Any advice on what to try?

Thanks a bunch.
