R_ARM_PC24 relocation out of range

Hi,

after som troubles I managed to install Debian on my Acorn RiscPC. But now I
also wanted to use it for some things and also installed Gnome. But when
starting the Gnome panel or Enlightenment I get a strange error message:

panel: error in loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libIIOP.so.0: R_ARM_PC24
relocation out of range

What does that mean and what could be done against it?
