Seems so. The latest Debian kernel is 2.2.10.
# cat > /dev/dsp
bash: /dev/dsp: No such device
I'll just wait for the next Debian kernel- or maybe someday a 2.3/2.4 which
builds out-of-box. :-)
With a bit of effort, I've got all of the glib/gtk+, imlib, orbit and gnome-libs
packages built. The simple little gnome-hello tests work, so I think I'm doing
something right. :-) I'll make them available when everything's ready.
