My sound hasn't been working for a while (I have a rev4 board). It
worked with the old 2.0.x kernels - I'll have to investigate further -
someday.

# cd /dev
# ./MAKEDEV audio
When I start building images with boot-floppies, I'll make sure I
include them.

I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if the WaveArtist driver wasn't
100% complete wrt. updating /proc/sound.
