Package: apache
Version: 1.3.33-2
Severity: minor
apache is mysteriously being killed on a lot of our machines. we found
out that this happens during apt-get upgrade, when a new version of
apache is being installed.
the reason is the option "start apache at boot time", which, when not
checked, will cause apache to be killed on every upgrade.
this is confusing, to say the last :)
either the description of that option should include (or kill at every
upgrade), or apache should be restarted after an upgrade, when it was
running.
