Apr-util 1.2 only supports compiling the driver into the library. Apr-util 1.3 will support loading dbd-drivers only when they are used, but 1.3 will not be ready in time for lenny. For lenny+1, the dbd (and maybe ldap) dependencies will be split into separate packages.
