Bug#433649: Segmentation fault with php5

Package: apache2-mpm-prefork
Version: 2.2.3-4

When a php page is requested only half of the page arrives to the web
browser. The server fails with a:
[Wed Jul 18 15:01:17 2007] [notice] child pid 4584 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
in the error log.

The web site that triggers the error is a custom developed PHP site.
Debian developers may gain access to the server and the site by
request.

The web server has the following modules enabled:
alias
auth_basic
authn_file
authz_default
authz_groupfile
authz_host
authz_user
autoindex
cgi
dir
env
mime
negotiation
php5
setenvif
ssl
status

Web server start up log message:
[Wed Jul 18 15:00:22 2007] [notice] Apache/2.2.3 (Debian)
PHP/5.2.0-8+etch7 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8c configured -- resuming
normal operations

The server is running Debian Linux 4.0
# uname -a
Linux deb-deb.softscan.dk 2.6.18-4-amd64 #1 SMP Fri May 4 00:37:33 UTC
2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux

# dpkg -s libc6 | grep ^Version
Version: 2.3.6.ds1-13

The server hardware is a xen 3 virtual server. I have tested and found
the same problem on an exact copy of the server running on a vmware
virtual server.

Best regards,
Simon Østengaard
