What kind of page are you requesting? A static page or some script, etc?
What modules do you have enabled? Especially modules that are not part of
the apache2 core.
Do you use any special configuration for mod negotiation?
Have you tried to increase the loglevel and see whether anything
interesting appeared in the error.log?
Do you know how to use strace and could use it on the apache processes?
