Package: apache2.2
Version: 2.2.3-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When I attempted to dist-upgrade, my apache2 was removed, but apache2.2 was not installed.

I had a series of complaints about -- I do not have the output saved, my apologies -- that vesion 2.0-something of apache2-common (IIRC) was stricly required, but I had 2.2-something installed.

I then attempted some manual fixes. What I get is:

# apt-get -f install

In other words: apt-get removed my working apache2 installation but failed to install the apache2.2 replacement and my web server is down. I expect I'll figure it out eventually (suggestions welcome). My somewhat practiced eye makes me think it's a packaging problem, as the dist-upgrade process chokes on unresolved dependencies.

Side comment: if the package is named apache2.2, it ought to show up as apache2.2 in the dpkg -l listings.
