Bug#379015: apache2-common: Ugly error messages when /etc/apache2/conf.d/ is empty
Package: apache2-common
Version: 2.0.55-4
Severity: normal
Hi,
on a system with a new and minimal apache2 installation, the
/etc/apache2/conf.d/ directory is empty. Every day cron sends me an
e-mail with this error message:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
grep: /etc/apache2/conf.d/[^.#]*: No such file or directory
Same thing on boot and when I restart apache manually:
# /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
Forcing reload of apache 2.0 web server...grep:
/etc/apache2/conf.d/[^.#]*: No such file or directory
.
A quick fix would be to provide an empty /etc/apache2/conf.d/do-not-remove file
(or with a short comment).
