Bug#281749: apache: postinst breaks on Includes pointing to a directory
Package: apache
Version: 1.3.26-0woody6
Severity: normal
postinst gives errors when there are Includes in the configuration files
that point to a directory like e.g. "/etc/apache/conf.d".
The Apache DOCs do allow it:
[from /usr/share/doc/apache-doc/html/mod/core.html]
New in Apache 1.3.13 is the feature that if Include points to a
directory, rather than a file, Apache will read all files in that
directory, and any subdirectory, and parse those as configuration
files.
Postinst gives this error:
awk: read error (Is a directory)
awk: read error (Is a directory)
which is coming from line 160 and line 164 in
/var/lib/dpkg/info/apache.postinst
