there is a bug open already... but thanks for not reporting the usual duplicate.
No problem. I figured that everyone's got better things to do (with the push to get Sarge out by the end of the year) than deal with some idiot blasting bug reports :-)
The biggest problem with this (and the related bugs) is the lack of info provided by Apache or PHP. Since Apache just dies silently, it's assumed to be the culprit. Hopefully later versions of both handle that better.I exchanged a couple of mails with Brian and they are working at the root of the problem. It should be fixed sometime during the next week. Fabio
Cool. Possibly changing the dependancies on Apache will help, so a careless apt-get upgrade doens't blow things up. Not sure if adding notes to any of the bugs would help, due to the duplicate bug syndrome.
Thanks again for taking the time. Keep up the good work! --Rich _________________________________________________________ Rich Puhek ETN Systems Inc. 2125 1st Ave East Hibbing MN 55746 tel: 218.262.1130 email: rpuhek@etnsystems.com _________________________________________________________
