I found that removing the directive "SSLCACertificatePath /etc/apache-ssl" from /etc/apache-ssl/httpd.conf solved the problem: now the opened files don't exceed 700 and they are those that I expect. I suggest to comment out the SSLCACertificatePath directive from the configuration file, but I suspect that a bug is present in the apache code. -- Niccolo Rigacci http://www.texnet.it/
