I don't what you mean by old config, but here is it (thanks to
diffmon)...

In the last few weeks, mod_perl was in my config. Then, when
I upgraded perl, mod_perl didn't work any longer as it wasn't
compiled against the new perl version yet. So, I commented out
the "LoadModule perl_module" line from /etc/apache/httpd.conf
on 2003-10-06 10:51:48 +0200.

I did an apache upgrade later, and on 2003-10-10 02:12:45 +0200,
the LoadModule lines were replaced by a line

  Include /etc/apache/modules.conf

and this file contained only one "LoadModule perl_module" line
(as I readded this module when I was asked to choose between the
loaded module by the configuration program -- BTW, I was asked
twice to choose between the modules, one for apache-common and
one for libapache-mod-perl IIRC).

After the latest apache upgrade, a second "LoadModule perl_module"
line was added to modules.conf on 2003-10-15 02:42:10 +0200.
