apache deletes cron scripts
Package: apache
Version: 1.3.26-0woody3
Package: apache-ssl
Version: 1.3.26.1+1.48-0woody3
Everytime when apache packages are updated (like
on 4th of november for security fixes)
my /etc/cron.daily/apache and my /etc/apache/cron.conf
get purged without notice.
I think, first there should at least be a warning and
possibility to backup the scripts before purging.
On the other side, i think there should be an option
like "do you want to use logrotate with apache or do it on your own?"
or something like this
the reason is, i have lots of virtual hosts, each one is logging
in a different directory, and the logs get daily processed
by webalizer. and the original "/etc/cron.daily/apache" script
does this job perfect, cause it fetches all log locations
from /etc/apache/*.conf automatically.
the same "problem" existst for apache-ssl
(just: s/apache/apache-ssl/g )
