Bug#141871: apache-ssl: apt-get wants to remove apache-ssl
Package: apache-ssl
Version: 1.3.23.1+1.47-3
Severity: normal
this is not strictly apache-sll problem but that's where it surfaces.
The problem is that very often the apache packages are updated out of
synch and apt-get (aptitude too) wants to remove apache-ssl (as well as
bunch of other packages that depend on http server).
This time the problem is apache-common, the current version is higher
than what apache-ssl requires (the new apache-common version is
1.3.24-1, the one required for apache-ssl is listed below).
Considering that this situation happens over and over it would be nice
if the problem is fixed somehow (synchronized release of all apache
packages?)
thanks,
erik
