32bit --> 64 server upgrade, and samba

Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade an old Pentium4 box to a new xeon
I realize I'll have to install a fresh AMD64 Debian to the new server.

But I want to retain all the samba domain/accounts stuff.

Can I simply just install samba on the new xeon box, and then copy over
the /var/lib/samba/* files and /etc/samba/smb.conf over from the old 32
bit server, and I should be okay?

Thanks,
Mike
