X actually crashes, which make me think there may be a problem with libpthread, because how can X be "crashable" by another app ?
Something is weird, crashes happen also if no plugin is actually in use, only got iceape launched on an about: page, and I think I've put a an x86_64 version of flash plugin in flexbuilder's flash player directory...

Look like Flash crashes, not indicative of an X problem. Plus you're using
nspluginwrapper, so when Flash bombs, it appears to occur in the
npviewer.bin process.
