I know all this and don't want to talk deeply about that. In several
constructs you just need to use a special software. If not under amd64,
use i386, if not linux, use windows.
It's not about willing to use ONLY free software, it's the NEED to use it.
And no, I won't quit my job for not using non-free-software.

Now skype under amd64 works for chat and talk, webcam needs to be tested.
