3com pci-x nic not configuring

Hello,

Have a 3com 3c996b-t PCI-X that won't come up for me.
(broadcom chip on nic)
Running amd64 etch with kernel 2.6.18-5 stock kernel.

Here's the output from lshw:

[snip]

ifconfig only shows eth1, eth2, and eth3. (Total of 4 nics)
Just eth0 is missing. (my old eth0 was a dlink)
Any help to get this 3com activated would be great!
lshw shows that its disabled, but have no idea how to re-activate it.

Thanks!
Mike
