I could build from debian
source(2.6.23-1~experimental.1~snapshot.9665) with
patch-2.6.23-hrt3.patch.bz2.
I got .config file from
linux-image-2.6.23-1-amd64_2.6.23-1~experimental.1~snapshot.9665_amd64.deb.

so, debian's kernel source may be fine I think.

my build environment is sid and I've installed these packages.
gcc-4.2  4.2.2-3
binutils 2.18-1
