Hauppauge PVR-350 - ivtv - amd64
Hi folx,
I am new to this list (as I am to Debian-amd64, an old debian-i686 user
though ...)
In the meantime, many things are working as expected, but I obviously am
not able to configure my Hauppauge PVR-350 right. It urges to have a
Philips FM1216ME MK5 but no matter what i configure (or even not
configure - for autodetection) it says "tuner 2-0061: tuner type not
set" - see my dmesg output, if you want ...
What is puzzling me is the fact, that in the very beginning of my
playing around with this amd64-computer - when I tried to install amd32
- i could at least _see_ the tv-image (with no sound - a "missing cable
issue") ... but later on when i switched to amd64: no matter what tuner
i chose (and i tried many of them, every single one i found on the net
being rather close to Philips FM1216ME MK5) no video image - and no
sound either, even after resolving the cable issue ... just (more or
less) white noise on every channel ...
Is this an amd64 issue?
