well amd64 is official for testing and unstable, though not for stable.
for stable you will still have to use the unoficial mirrors.
for testing/unstable you can/must use a officiall mirror _whitch mirrors
amd64_, because official mirrors are no longer requiered to mirror all
official archs (though most do mirror amd64 as far as i have heard...)
