re: firefox ugly fonts

Hi,

since yesterday's update to sid (both chroot and main installation), 
firefox fonts look just awful (i'm using kde).

Any hints on this?

hi, what worked for me : create a file '.fonts.conf' in you're home 
directory (~/.fonts.conf) :

with the following content :



<?xml version="1.0"?>

<!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM "fonts.dtd">

<fontconfig>

<include>conf.d/no-bitmaps.conf</include>

</fontconfig>



this disables bitmapped fonts
