Ehm, I would think it was something like:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.15-1-amd64-generic

It also looks like boot from HD.  Did you set the bios to boot from CD
first?

grub reads ext3 as ext2 I believe.  They are similar enough that it
doesn't matter when just reading in general.
