firefox crashes often

Hi All!

I am using Etch Amd64. Firefox crashes often on different websites. Is
there an option I can turn off/on to make crashes less common. Are
crashes with firefox actually common for amd64 port? I didn't have this
problem with firefox on i386.

The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.

This probably reflects a bug in the program.

The error was 'BadShmSeg (invalid shared segment parameter)'.
