apache and webdav

Having some trouble running webdav with apache.

Have apache and libapache-mod-dav installed.
My modules.conf has these lines in it:

ClearModuleList
AddModule mod_so.c
AddModule mod_macro.c
LoadModule config_log_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_log_config.so
LoadModule mime_magic_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_mime_magic.so
LoadModule mime_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_mime.so
LoadModule negotiation_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_negotiation.so
LoadModule status_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_status.so
LoadModule autoindex_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_autoindex.so
LoadModule dir_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_dir.so
LoadModule cgi_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_cgi.so
LoadModule userdir_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_userdir.so
LoadModule alias_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_alias.so
LoadModule rewrite_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_rewrite.so
LoadModule access_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_access.so
LoadModule auth_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_auth.so
LoadModule digest_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_digest.so
LoadModule expires_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_expires.so
LoadModule setenvif_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_setenvif.so
LoadModule dav_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libdav.so
LoadModule digest_auth_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_auth_digest.so

Here's the dav lines from httpd.conf

DAVLockDB /var/lock/DAV/
Alias /dav /var/www
   <Location /dav/>
          DAV On
        AuthType Digest
        AuthName "host"
        AuthDigestFile /etc/apache/digestusers
        <LimitExcept GET HEAD OPTIONS>
        require user spider@host
        </LimitExcept>
        </Location>
        <IfModule mod_dav.c>
        DAVLockDB   /var/lock/DAV/DAVLock
        </IfModule>

Everything seems to go fine, I'm using a Windows XP box to connect to the dav
folder, after I type my username and password, I get a blank window.
Here's the output from the apache error.log

[Thu Feb 23 11:13:06 2006] [notice] child pid 14442 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)

I would be happy to go back to even Basic Auth, just would like to get this
to work.
Anyone else run into this?
Thanks for any help!

Note: Didn't get this error on ia-32 sarge box.

cheers,
Mike
