Get it from the same place you got your 1.0.8178 nvidia-kernel-source from.

If you built your own 1.0.8178 packages with dpkg-buildpackage, then an 
nvidia-glx-ia32 was also built (install it). If you're using some kind 
of repository, then the package should be on there.

This isn't a Quake problem, it's a trivial package management problem.
