running nvidia drivers on new kernel

Hi there,

I've successfully installed 2.6.15.1 kernel. Now I'm trying to set uo video (GF6200) using nvidia drivers.
but got a problem.

First, I have followed  https://alioth.debian.org/docman/view.php/30192/21/debian-amd64-howto.html#id272586
using command
MAKEFLAGS="CC=gcc-3.4" make-kpkg modules_image
and module have compiled successfully

However, when I tried
modprobe nvidia
I've got
FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.15.1/nvidia/nvidia.ko): Invalid module format
tlbase:/usr/src/linux-2.6.15.1#

googling suggest to install kernel headres, but I was installing it from the sources. So I suggest that I had to specify "--append-to-version " in make-kpkg
Am I right?
If so,  which one?
