Net boot install CD not working

I'm trying to reinstall Debian amd64, but I can't find a CD that willactually install properly.


I've tried the 24th October (2 days ago) version of the netboot iso.
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-amd64/debian-installer/2005-10-24/netboot/mini.iso

I also tried the monolith version from the same date.  Same result.

It failed on the core system install!

Is there any STABLE install ISO that works these days?

Its really worrying not to be able to install Debian! I'm wondering ifI should install Ubuntu instead, however I don't know enough about thesupport and packages available for Ubuntu to go that route yet.


Any stable amd64 ISO???
