What does

ls -lhd /usr /usr/share /usr/share/doc /usr/share/doc/util-linux /usr/share/doc/util-linux/examples /usr/share/doc/util-linux/examples/getopt-parse.bash.gz

say?

That sounds bad. Is your perl now broken?
